Full Overview

About the Ogechi Nwaokoneya Foundation

Established in 2018, the Foundation sits at the intersection of social advocacy, relief, and girl-child support. We believe every individual deserves equal dignity, health resources, and access to educational growth.

"Dignity is not a privilege we distribute — it is a right we restore."

What Guides Us

Dignity First

Every programme is designed to preserve the self-respect of the people it serves, never to put it on display.

Community-Led

We work through local leaders and volunteers who understand each community's real, day-to-day needs.

Consistency

Lasting change comes from showing up again and again — not one-off relief drives.

  • Humanitarian & social impact advocate

Esther Ogechi Gabriel is a humanitarian and social impact advocate whose work centres on restoring dignity to girls, women, and families across Nigeria. A Sociology graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, she has carried her advocacy from the pageant stage — as Miss Tourism Africa (2018/2019) and Miss Globe 1st Runner-Up (2021) — into sustained, on-the-ground community work.

She founded the Ogechi Nwaokoneya Foundation in 2018 to close the gap between short-term relief and long-term dignity — building programmes in education, health, and empowerment that communities can rely on year after year.
